Sit-at-Home Order Cancelled Across South-East Nigeria

The sit-at-home order observed across the South-East region of Nigeria has been officially cancelled following a directive attributed to Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the announcement, the cancellation takes effect from Monday, 9th February, marking a significant shift aimed at restoring normal socio-economic activities across the region.

The sit-at-home order, which had been observed intermittently in the South-East, greatly affected businesses, educational institutions, transportation, and overall economic productivity. With this new directive, residents are encouraged to resume their lawful daily activities without fear or intimidation.

Stakeholders across the region have welcomed the development, describing it as a positive step toward peace, stability, and economic recovery. Traders, transport operators, civil servants, and students are expected to return fully to work and school, while security agencies are urged to ensure the safety of lives and property.

“I am a prisoner of conscience, and i am sure that the world still has conscience. i am nnamdi kanu; i have chosen death, i shall die for biafra, and let my death give my generation freedom”.

Community leaders and residents have also called for calm, cooperation, and unity, emphasizing the need to prioritize dialogue and peaceful engagement in addressing regional concerns.

As the implementation begins, the public is advised to stay informed through credible sources and continue to support efforts that promote peace and development in the South-East.
